How You Can Help

You can support the work of the Leukemia Foundation of Arizona in a number of ways:

  • Send a donation to the LFA
  • Donations to LFA qualify as a tax credit for Arizona donors through the Arizona Working Poor Tax Credit Program (ARS 43-1088).  This program allows contributors to claim an income tax credit for cash contributions of up to $200 for those filing individual returns and up to $400 for those filing joint returns if the tax-payer itemizes deductions.  Detail information & forms are available from the Arizona State Department of Revenue Website (www.azdor.gov).
  • Encourage your employee’s organization, church, or civic group to provide support to LFA
  • Volunteer your time to assist with various LFA fund raising projects.  This is important because LFA does not conduct telemarketing or mass mailing campaigns.
  • If you have a skill or ideas that would help children with leukemia and their families, please let us know
  • Provide a memorial gift to LFA in memory of a loved one
  • Consider a bequest to LFA when estate planning
  • If you know of an Arizona family in crisis due to childhood  leukemia, please tell them about our services and suggest they discuss their situation with their child’s oncologist or social worker.  We may be able to help!
  • Tell your friends and acquaintances about LFA’s efforts so that we may reach more families in need

Childhood Leukemia is a devastating disease that causes tremendous hardship on the families that it strikes. We need your help to continue the fight!

Another way to support LFA is to support our various raffles.  We currently have a great raffle for a flight on a P51 Mustang WW2 aircraft as well as two nights lodging in Williams and a roundtrip for two on the Grand Canyon train.  The dates for these events is June 22 & 23, 2012.  The value for these events is $1,000.  Tickets are 1 for $30; 2 for $50; or 5 for $100.  Just go to our web donate page and make a donation indicating it is for the raffle.
